Bio
Click's stumbling upon Shadowmage's review of Baccano! was the inspiration that drove him to think more deeply about anime and lit a fire in him to engage with anime on a deeper level and share his thoughts. That led him to start his own blog at Pretense w/ Glasses, where he delves into a myriad of topics, tying anime with Western direction and architecture.

His motivation in joining the Nihon Review is twofold: to write reviews about lesser-known series, good or bad, which get far less attention than the more popular stuff and to eventually flood the review section with some awesomely girly shoujo or josei anime along the lines of Kaleido Star, KareKano, and Honey and Clover.

A little-known fact: in the course of watching anime, there was actually a time in his life when he thought Shuffle! was one of the greatest love stories of our time. Quite the embarrassing mistake and he has since refined his tastes to perfection.
