Amusing MADs
« on: December 28, 2007, 07:22:07 PM »
A MAD is what we would call an AMV, but on crack. Basically, this is a thread for any amusing parody works you see out there that are anime related. I'll kick it off.

I think just about anyone can appreciate this one. >_>;

Snatch is mad, but I wish that clip was more fluid.

Can we put Hatsune Miku songs in this thread?  Since, you know, she is the greatest invention of mankind after all.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kNatVSjVRE

(For original song with subs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBnAZ9oFtwY)

Most good MADs are crossovers.  What seems like a million years ago now I witnessed the best MAD I ever saw: a crossover between Lyrical Nanoha and Metal Gear Solid.  Sure as hell wouldn't know where to find that now.

Am I the only one that doesn't like Miku?

I present to you her superior, Kagamine Rin. <_<;;;

Okay. Okay, fine. I prefer Rin because she's the loli. ~_~

I'm not sure if anyone here will understand the reference, but it's the cleanest animation I've ever seen.

I had no blardy clue that a fish can rap like that. Akira, you've made me go head over heels for Hosaka all over again.

I love Hosaka. Definitely one of the most GAR men to ever hit the face of the planet.

Certainly had more imagination than any of the OP sequences from the first series.  So, did someone just remix footage from the first season to whip that up, or was there stuff in there from trailers and whatnot as well?  Since there were a few things that I didn't recognize.

From the looks of it, they borrowed a few images from the numerous magazine teasers pics.  The picture of new guy was from the first of what is now ten trailers.

Oh yeah, obligatory Harem Geass plug in.

I recommend Mobile Suit, RX-0 and Unicorn from the Unicorn OST.

T______________T I did not need to see that >_>;;

Wash it down with the combination of one of the most win and one of the more fail action series of all time meshed together extremely fluidly.

*Shudder*.  Disturbing.  Yet, so convincing.  If this were made during the airing of R2, I'd bet there'd be a million times more Kaguya.

This stuff is absolutely required in any otaku's car.  So it's not an AMV.  Sue me :)

>_>;;; This is like the most annoying nav system I've ever heard... really wouldn't want Kugimiya telling me where to drive.

Yandere?

Some of you might have seen this already O_o;;; but yeah... this makes me laugh. I think it's easy to figure out what it is.

My goodness, they couldn't have picked a worse song than m.o.v.e.'s "Dogfight" for the theme song if they tried.  :-\
