Kumoricon '07
« on: August 27, 2007, 09:22:59 PM »
Kumoricon '07 is on the 1st and goes til the 3rd of September.

NHRV want anything from me on it? A majority of the coverage will be on the OIP, but I'd be glad to do something here as well.

I'll be co-running a panel and helping my cousin with a game of Anime Jeopardy, I'm also a member of the Cosplay chess game.

Let me know if anything sounds interesting.
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.

I've actually never been to an anime-con in my life.  Until recently, I was one of those people who would scold individuals for even talking about cons, saying how nerdy they were and completely over the edge.  My position has since changed, I don't think like that anymore and am very interested and excited about next years SakuraCon.  I won't be able to make Kuroricon due to my travels, but you'll have to tell me all about it.

Good luck in that cosplay chess game!

Sweet Pope. That was a fun convention.

Reports to come.

(Cosplay Chess ended in a Stalemate. The Random Panel boasted 120+ attendees and Anime Jeopardy was a good learning experience. Ballroom Lessons was packed.)

Now, I must go rest for school... TOMORROW ;_;

Nice work man!  I'm glad you had fun.  Did you meet Sean Schemmel (the voice of Goku)?  I was very upset that I missed that.  He rarely comes to cons, especially ones in the Pacific North West (as he resides in New Jersey).

Who were you dressed up as?

I'm still pissed they talked down about Kana Imouto. They all deserve to be shot. =_=;;;

Next year: Play Touhou.

I don't particularly like going to VA panels, so I never met Sean (he did give a short speech during closing ceremonies though).

I was dressed as Lupin III in different variations all weekend.

I played Touhou on the projector during the random panel, but I was laughing too hard to play seriously.

Lupin III?  Dang, that's old school.  :p

I'll try and make it next year!

Spelling is probably horrible, and there is a chance the code is messed up. Never the less, enjoy.
