Desktop ploz.
« on: May 15, 2007, 07:34:11 PM »
So what does yours look like? I'm curious to see if we have some artistic types around.

Here's mine. I made the desktop.

Hours, MS paint, etc.

I like to keep things simple.

I have the coolest desktop. <3 ObjectDock
But I'm missing an interactive calendar/clock, anyone know the program?

Edit-  Picture was way too big.  A link's just as good.  -DK

One of my friends made this wallpaper for me.
Used to have an all-black theme, but visibility lacked; then I had an all-white theme but it hurt my eyes.
Grey is a good compromise - oh, and 1680x1050>all.

You were talking to me. >_>

I like my wallpaper; but that's because I really like Pokemon.

I need a widescreen, but I think I must save my money for more crucial matters.

Because of this, I shall never change my desktop... until something better pops up.

Yeah, I'm poor and wouldn't have even bothered with a widescreen (bought it maybe 2 or so years ago), but the Dell (samsung panel) monitors are really good despite their computers sucking, and the monitors were on sale at the time - over 60% off their list - so I picked it up. This was around the time of the death of my old 15 inch CRT from the 90-somethings. I like widescreens, but I can see how they're really unnecessary. OTOH it makes watching HD anime nicer.

This screen cap. neglects to show that I use Wallpaper Master. A nice program that allows me to click a little icon and my wallpaper changes. I found myself changing my wallpaper every other day or so, so I decided that I'd get a program to do it for me.
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.

I have a patch that allows me to change the theme to whatever I want, without slowing down my comp, like Desktop X and the like.
