So what's some of you favorite OSTs? Some of mine include the Guilty Gear and Final Fantasy soundtracks.

FLCL is definately my favorite.  Then comes Cowboy Bebop, followed closely by .Hack//Sign.

Noir, .hack//sign, and Cowboy Bebop for anime, Cowboy Bebop coming in first.  I love Yuki Kajiura to death but she's horribly inconsistant.  Yoko Kanno delivers consistantly.

For games, Final Fantasy X, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, and Xenosaga II, all in a tie.  Why?  Because FFX and XSII are both wonderful but inconsistant(like Nobou and Kajiura ALWAYS are) and because Baten's music is as good as the average songs in those two.

I like the music from Big O, followed by Bubblegum Crisis.

Thanks to DarkKanti for the Sig!

Cowboy Bebop is the best anime OST I've heard so far, with songs like Blue, Call Me Call Me and The Real Folk Blues.  For video games, I'd have to pick Halo or Final Fantasy 7.

Kannaduki no Miko's one of my alltime favourites.  Mediocre anime, but love that soundtrack.

I'm going with Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and Beck. I've been listening to the Beck OST for like, the last week. O.O

Cowboy Bebop, .hack//SIGN, and FLCL all come to mind on this side of the planet.

I love my .hack//SIGN soundtrack :)

Sorry to sound repetitive, but Cowboy Bebop and FLCL are the top of my list.  Add to that Fantastic Children.  Mizu no Madoromi alone make any OST great.

Koudelka, a little known PS1 RPG(which I will soon be reviewing), had a wonderful soundtrack, even if it was often rather inappropriate.  I liked Waterfall and Kiss Me Twice the best, along with Latin Funeral March played, played during the opening FMV.

It'd be a thread bump if this weren't the only thread in this forum. XD

OHNOEZ, no one's mentioned the OST for Vision of Escaflowne: A Girl in Gaea. D: What's wrong with you people? :p

Add to that FLCL (of course) and the Bebop OSTs.

Aside from the standard answer of .hack//SIGN, Cowboy Bebop and FLCL, I also love the OSTs for:

Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen
Now and Then, Here and There
Emma
Haibane Renmei

I also like the OST to Dragonball Z; mostly the songs by Kageyama Hironobu.

As for games, well uh, I'll reply later. :)

I've mainly been listening to the various .hack OSTs. I just started listening to the first Fullmetal Alchemist OST, though, and it's absolutely amazing. Get it. It's fscking awesome.

I've also got the Madlax 1 and Fafner 1 (and Battlestar Galactica season one :D) CDs on order, so I'll have to see how they are.

Oh, and get a pair of these headphones. Cheap, comfy, small, and they sound great. Much better than my iPod's earbuds.
