I don't know if we're so much targeting newcomers as we are people that just don't know.  I mean, the tendency is for the quality of anime to be inversely proportional to its popularity (not always true, I know, but for argument's sake, let's pretend there's a correlation).  Let's say every otaku and his dog knows about Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha... but how people have seen Bokura ga Ita or Red Garden.  The latter are vastly superior to the former, in our opinion, thus they get praise here that they don't really get on other sites or in certain circles.  Such anime deserve more exposure, and the hope is that the high ratings and glowing reviews attached to them gets it for them.

I could go on, but I'd just be repeating what others have said.

Well, as cyanoacry predicted, we had our best month ever with July, but I wouldn't really say all that much of it was due to incoming links from Moe Imouto.

Had Moe Imouto linked to us for the entire month, rather than just a week, on these figures we probably would have expected ~250-350 hits from them, which is about what we get from Random Curiosity, but still significantly dwarfed by what we get from AnimeSuki.  But, I think the real reason why we increased our traffic so much this month is because we've been getting so many search results from Yahoo and, to a lesser extent, Google.

Congrats to us. It seems that we're on track to getting more than 4000 hits in August as well; that would be awesome.

Alot, let me tell you. You're helping to make a name for us already. Don't fret; a medal is on its way for you.

Glad to hear the good news anyway.

Holy shit. O_O;;;

Sorrow, you sounded so disappointed when you said "i think the numbers talk for themselves" I thought we went down to 3000 again XD

That's awesome. I guess we are getting more hits from search engines, and those links are working...

Well, these months are looking pretty good. Our google pageviews keep on rising, which is a very good thing. I just wish those people would visit the forums =/

Congrats guys on being able to maintain 5k+ unique visitors each month for three months consecutively. I know that you all want improvement, but take it one step at a time. You've done great since I've gone inactive.

Cheers!
