Monthly traffic reports 2007
« on: February 02, 2007, 03:30:22 AM »
January.  After 5 months of getting close, but not quite hitting it, we broke 2000 unique users in November 2006.  Just two months later, we broke 3000.

I take full credit.  Pachinko and the recruiting had nothing to do with it.

You all disgust me, I just want you to know this. >__> Who the hell am I kidding. Get me some beer and some bear! 3000 unique, that is awesome. Now, if all of those people tell two people each, we're set.
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.

February.  Not great this month, but I'm not surprised we've been set back slightly, since taking the /wordpress/ out of our links has likely screwed up the databases that search engines like Google and Yahoo had on us, as well as other various links other sites had to us that haven't been fixed.  Particularly Yahoo, on which we had quite a few first page results, no longer returns results for us for numerous search terms where, in the past, we figured quite highly.  In the big scope of things, our current numbers are approximately where we were in September/October last year.  But, I still think the move was a good one, and the set back was to be expected.

Damn, Sorrow, you're being optomistic when you say "slightly..."

That's quite a substantial drop. I'm sure we'll bounce back in March, yeah?

Nah, I don't see the point.  It gives a friendly 404 message anyway.

New month.  There's one obscure statistic on here that grabbed my attention, and when I realized what it meant, it gave me a heap of optimism about how things are going to go traffic-wise in the next few months.
