Yeah, this was apparently an anime before it got the live-action treatment. Whatever. Didn't see the anime.

So! We've got some newbie teacher given a class of delinquents. Thing is, she's actually the granddaughter of a Yakuza boss. She needs to keep this a secret from everyone (except the principal) in order to avoid being forced to resign. Drama and hijinks ensue.

Watch it. Or else. It's that awesome of a show.

Gotta be better then that pile of ass they called the anime version.  Seems that stories of this kind of vein are popular to be turned into live action shows.  First GTO, now this.

I've seen a few episodes of the Gokusen live action at a friend's house.  It's a great show.  Being a huge GTO fan, I had wanted to check out the anime, but people kept telling me how awful it was.

Thanks for reminding me about Gokusen, I should really go download some more episodes.  A show with a character named Kuma can't be all bad. ;)

The anime seriously threw me off this show, which I know isn't really fair to the drama, but....

Honestly.  That creepy dog!  Anyone who's ever read Taimashin... doesn't that dog remind you of someone?!  <_<

Anyway, the anime was absolutely terrible.  I should try the drama sometime, though, since I've always been fond of the lead actress, Nakama Yukie.

Huh? What dog? There was a total of one episode with a dog, and even then it wasn't on screen for very long.

The anime had some bulldog that talked, IIRC.

I need to watch this again.  Or rather finish it.  I tried a few years ago but only saw the first two episodes because the subbed episodes took forever.  I enjoyed it from what I remember.  Lots of hot guys or funny or something.  :3

Just finished the last episode of season 1. ARGH! I hate this series and its screwing with my emotions!
