If conventions are eventually going to become a part of the database, what if the staff members who have gone to conventions do an editorial/report/thingamajig about their first convention experience? I was thinking of something along the lines of the "Best of 2005 anime" editorial where each staff member writes a little something and then it's compiled into one big thing.

I like it.  My first con experience was like Christmas in March (Cleveland Colossalcon 2003).  I don't know how many specifics I remember well enough to talk about, but I'd give it a try.

Never actually been to a convention tbh.  It's not like I've been avoiding them.  It's just anime isn't exactly big where I live so most nerd conventions are a mix of sci-fi, anime, comics etc, which isn't my type of game.  And the anime conventions that are held are usually so poorly advertised that I miss them.

Actually, I've never been to one either.  I'm kind of scared of them.  After all, I've seen all those freaky cosplay pictures!  :O

You can all do an editorial on First Anime Seen, but not review it, more like share your thoughts one what you thought then and how it opened your doors towards anime and all that stuff.

Speaking of Editorials it would be a good Idea to remove the Games section in the Editorials page <_<

The first anime seen topic is a good idea, but I'd expand it to, "The anime that got you into anime."  The first anime I saw didn't do much to get me into anime.  You could start with your first anime and go from there.
