MDN reveals 'Manglish' - a revolution in manga
Manga lovers rejoice! A never-seen-before approach to manga makes its debut on the Mainichi Daily News today.

Manglish takes some of Japan's hottest young manga talents -- showcased in the Mainichi's MangaTown site -- and places their creations on the MDN in their original Japanese format.

But, by simply dragging your cursor over the top of the manga, you can also read them in English.

MangaTown is one of Japan's most successful online manga sites and attracts some of the nation's best up-and-coming artists.

Manglish now brings their works to the world via the MDN. Manglish will be updated daily on weekdays, one page at a time.

Check out "A Six Feet Girl," the debut Manglish work, by clicking the link below.

And please let us know what you think about Manglish by sending a letter to our Forum, accessible through the link at the bottom of this page. (Mainichi Daily News)

That's a really good idea!  Except all I could find on their site was page 1.  Aren't other pages up?  I mean... it was a good story so far.... New students standing up.... Boring speeches.....  Brilliant stuff, I'm sure... but a bit cliffhanger-ish.

I enjoy the fact that they have finally came up with a way of not editting the original material but translating it into english anyway. Now if they can only start producing manga books that actually do with when your finger hovers over the text.

Hopefully more publishers jump on board with this.
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.
