Official welcome thread for Scoot
« on: May 30, 2006, 04:04:48 PM »
We have a valuable new member in Scoot.  For those who don't know, he's been writing extremely high quality student reviews at AA for a little while.  I'm sure he's going to be a great servant for the site, and, as I said on the front page, we all anticipate lots of kick ass reviews from you for a long time into the future.  :D

Welcome to the team.

Yay!  That's awesome!  I've admired the reviews you've put up at AA, Scoot.  They're impressive, and it's great to have you on the team!

:D  Welcome.

I've also read and enjoyed alot of your reviews on the AA forums, and am happy to have you on the team.  Welcome Scoot.

Edit-  Now we have the two winners from the review contests at AA.   :joy:

Thanks everyone.

I have a couple of reviews of more classical anime in the works - to round out the reviews section a little. I need a little time to get my thoughts in order about them before I can get any prose down, but I'm sure I'll have something for your editors to tear apart very, very soon.

I look forward to helping make this site the best it can be.
All the best, Scoot.

It took you a bloody time to join!

Oh well, better late than never, they say.

And congratulations are in order, your reviews deserved that spot on the frontpage.

Hey, I guess this means that I can pass my "Welcome to the team" title on!  Awwww.... I'm someone's sempai.... How cute.

Oh, and Scoot, beware Tama.  He... heh... kinda has this thing for teddy bears and leather and spiky collars.....

And Kurier is days away from going to Japan, so he's blacklisted out of sheer jealousy.

And Sorrow-kun is our equivalent of Ouran's Kyouya.

Thank God I'm sane, at least.

:D

Hi Rove, nice to see you're involved too - I always respect your opinions.

As a special request - Can I please write another Elfen Lied review? I promise not to make a habit of re-reviewing titles already in the archive - but this one deserves a second chance!

Dheu, I like to think I'm pretty well grounded... perhaps we should start a club.

EDIT: And why is my post-count still 0?

You do? O_o?

And if by involved you mean 'involved in the welcoming of a new reviewer', then yes; otherwise I'm not part of the NhRv team.

Your posts in certain parts of the forum don't add up to your post count, and remember, you're not your post count, this is not AA^2! ;)

Anyone with a Haruko avatar is awesome in my book.  Great to have you here and I look forward to seeing more reviews from you.

Jeez, it seems like everyone here is tied to AA somehow.  And it doesn't matter if you review titles already in the database.  It will give readers a way to compare reviewers.

You may review what you like.  You'll notice there are a few titles that have already been reviewed twice before, so it's no problem.  (Yes, we all know you're a bit of an EL fanboy :p)

Gosh, the infamous Scooty.

Oh wait.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE!! I don't even lurk those damn forums anymore.

But seeing as how even S-Kunny says that you're mad good and stuff, I wouldn't doubt it. Welcome aboard, and yes, you're going to be our new best friend--comes with beatings and hugs and gifts and children! BIG SMILES! :D

I'm a busy person so I'll return very promptly (I think), but for sure, I'll be here for the summer. This is a rare chance that I have, posting here that is.

Good luck, have fun, don't die, make love! Late.

You forgot to mention that I am a talking Chestnut.

Scoot, all you have to do is smile and nod, soon enough you will up to speed on all our quarks (like the fact Dheu's name is some indo-proto thingy prounouced "Djay" and that she denies being a nerd).
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.
