The question of the day is, what was the hardest boss you've ever beaten?

My hellish boss would have to be Mizar out of Jet Force Gemini, he was sooo hard, it took me ages to beat him and i nearly used up all my ammo.

There's also the Rat King out of Secret of Evermore because he could kill you in seconds if you allowed him to cast spells.

Thanks to DarkKanti for the Sig!

Ganon in Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

At least I think Ganon was in that one...

But yeah, he want invisible and just owned you. I died over 30 times before I hit him once. And I rocked at Zelda games back then.

The three Majora's Mask transformations. It took me a while to beat the first, and when I found out there were two more, I almost gave up. The third just kept killing me whith his whips.

Thniking about that makes me wish Wind Waker was harder

Because I can

Any and all of the Seymours in FFX, because they just got HARDER AND HARDER when they weren't easy to begin with.

Abyssion from Tales of Symphonia.  At level 100, I barely scratched him.  This REAL TIME battle took me a half an hour.

Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts.  Two words: Sin Harvest.

I'd have to say the second form of Alma in Ninja Gaiden.  She took me a dozen or so tries at first.

The only Seymour that was the least bit challenging was the last one.

I've been playing Tekken 5 and Jinpachi is about the cheapest final boss from any fighting game I have ever played.  He makes some of Uranus' tactics look fair.

Angra Mainyu from FFX-2.  He wasn't that hard, per se, but the battle was so long you found your attention wavering, and then he hits you hard with Abbadon's Flame.

on Diablo II. i would have to say. DIABLO jesus christ that's a pain in the butt. especially when your a necromancer depending on your minions and then Diablo comes along and beats the living crap out of them in only one hit. damn't he's hard.

The final boss from the second golden sun was an ass soar. you beat the crap out of him (or so you thought) then he would pull the cheapest moves out of his butt and it was so hard to stay alive and heal when your guys died as soon as you revived them.

All the weapons in Final Fantasy VII. Every single one was a unique torture to my patience.
