Winter season 2006

Descriptions:  http://wiki.animeblogger.net/index.php?title=Winter_Anime_Season_2005/2006

Doesn't appear to be a lot of big name titles on offer.  Obviously, the one that's received the most hype is Fate/Stay Night, and it'll be interesting to see if it can live up to that hype.  A few sequels from series I didn't think had a chance of being picked up for another season (Amenaideyo, Meine Liebe).  I'll be skipping those.  As far as what I'll be watching, I'll be waiting a little closer to the date to make my final decision (except for Fate/Stay Night, which is a certaintly... license and all), but I'm thinking Kashimashi ~Girl meets Girl~ and Shinigami no Ballad are likely at this stage.

Discuss.  How do you see the new season playing out, and what are you thinking of following?

I am looking forward to the American releases of some titles. Such as the rest of Fullmetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell: 2nd GIG.

I see the new season playing out with the same high caliber as the series released in 2005. The anime industry is growing in leaps and bounds (in terms of quality) and shows no signs of stopping this advancement anytime soon.
I fell off the wagon and now I can't stop.

Bah, scratch that.  This new season's been terrible.  Watch Fate/Stay Night for the hype and Kashimashi if you like light comedy.  The rest is a waste of time.

/me is following the inanely boring Kagihime for the sake of a review when it's finished.

So, who's watching what and why?  Opinions?

Besides continuing the series that started in 2005 I'm not really planning on seeing anything until I know there's something worth watching.  I'm contemplating starting Fate/Stay Night, but I think I'm going to wait until I get a bit more insight into that.
