Between the frustrating development of this episode and Morioaka's new, infintely lesser, look, I am rapidly losing the desire to continue.

Sukurai being a massive Scott Pilgrim is only going to cause future problems for both Morioka and Koiwai.

This is some intense wish fulfillment. Morioka went from being a bum with no relationship prospects to being a bum who is actively being courted by 2 eligibile bachelors.

Koiwai's existence is nothing more than a means of padding. He doesn't need to be there. Even with him representing something as an "obstacle" things are progressing so amicably that they may as well not even bother. Morioka and Sakurai already have these canon "coincidences" that they can be accepted as a preordained couple.

Specs? It's a f2p MMO aint no way anyone would be concerned about specs. Unless the MMO itself is shit and terribly optimized.

O Jesus that "cool beauty" model was great.

Does this f2p MMO only have a single server? Irregradless, what are the odds Koiwai would get wrapped up with Morioka's existing online friend base?

And of ****ing course they reveal that Morioka and Sakurai were infact each others' buddy in their previous MMO. **** Me.

Yeah, I actually saw that coming back when Morioka mentioned not playing an MMO and having companions like these since then, but the confirmation of it this episode just made me groan.  There's coincidences, and then there's this shit.

Yea I had made mention of it when commenting on episode 3 and it is just so needless. Beyond being needless, It leaves me somewhat wondering if the author thinks such details are some form of "reincorporation" where we as viewers are supposed to receive "reveals" as "revelations" and examples of "foreshadowing." I just wind up hating it all. They were even throwing some glances suggesting Koiwai is some former-bigshot on teh interwebs. All this nonsense minutia not only adds nothing to the narrative but creates weird barriers for entry - if you were to enjoy this series as a light-hearted rom-com depicting a hopeful wish fulfillment you will now need literal YEARS of MULTI game spanning, pure coincidence driven, history to match the level of compatibility displayed by this couple.

And yet, when this show gets in a groove, and manages to make me forget about the bullshit surrounding the events(granted it does so by side-stepping the issue entirely by presenting a light-hearted tone) I find myself enjoying it. One need only look to my previous post,  each episode has an early scene which makes me want to quit but by the end of an episode I am left having had a positive experience.

Moriko's head din pop? Anyway, Sakurai should get extra online credit. I'm not surprise it's getting less 'online' time. And more 'real' interaction.

Well it was cute and only mildly offensive. It pandered hard and I gave 0 shits about the couple both as individuals(in a meaningful capacity) or as a unit. A serviceable seasonal romp.
Honestly Konbini Kareshi was the better of these 2017 incredibly forgettable, low-tier seasonal rom-coms.
