Knight's & Magic

Yet another entry into the isekei genre...and the fact that he is reincarnated from our world impacts the narrative in exactly zero ways. Why did he have to a robot otaku reborn rather than just someone from that world who wanted to pilot a mech? Oh, cause isekei is en vogue right now. Gotcha.

Him having been reincarnated from an adult allowed him to maintain the mind of an adult. Oh, he was also a genius programmer so the isekei is just there to contextualize his broken skill level. He is Onii-sama shota version.

It is trash. Not even fun trash. But the boring kind of trash where nobody has fun.

The show basically makes it's reincarnation premise completely irrelevant right away. If anything, this makes the show better, apart from the wasted screen time. We've seen the 'fantasy world through modern eyes' thing done over and over. I'd much rather keep that noise in the background.

It's refreshing to have an emphasis on study, practice, education, and support systems, rather than just having power be an innate attribute. It's also fun to see Ernie level up and get new equipment, RPG style.

Not bad so far.

It's actually mediocre. It's more for 12 graders type of magical/mecha mix.

But, it seems there are good action in every episodes. And the action is actually not too shabby. So far, the cool down is minimal.

I've check. Bandai not involved? It's constructing the Ultra Grade 1:1 scale mecha. Even the ED remind me of the o; Gundam W ED song.

You got a reincarnated guy who transformed a wand into a blaster gun, robots, knights, monsters.. Seems like the writer just wanted to dump every cool stuff in one anime which turned it into a total mess and a lot of irrelevant scenarios. But the animation is really great which made it entertaining to watch.

Not sure.  I've seen weird ones like this before, but they usually have some kind of link in the signature or something.  This thing is just one completely off cuff comment and nothing else.

I can always ban it later if it does something more, I guess.

Final thoughts

It's something for me to pass time. I do feel it's more for robots craze pre teens. But there are lots of decent actions. No pre and post action slow down. So that make it watchable.

6. I think that's generous.
