The last of us.

Pretty decent game with a few hiccups here and there. But I figure since it's story based it'd be up a lot of your guys ally. Wondering if anyone's got any thoughts to share?

You have to be playing the game to fully appreciate it. I watched a let's play with some friends, the guy playing was a moron, and it was nothing spectacular. However I can definitely see how the stealthy gameplay and limited resources makes for an intense batman-esque experience.

There's not much of a plot, but the two fascinating main characters can keep your attention.

The ending is probably going to be very controversial. I felt it was fitting and powerful, but definitely a downer ending. A lot of people disagree though.

This is one of those games that made me with I had a PS3.  Shame I went with the Wii though.

I recommend Mobile Suit, RX-0 and Unicorn from the Unicorn OST.

Don't worry. There are more of "these game" that are masterpieces that are Wii-exclusives than both the 360 and the PS3 put together. You got the better deal.

Just Skyward Sword and Super Mario Galaxy alone were enough to justify the purchase of a Wii over the 360 and the PS3 in terms of exclusive titles.

Don't forget Xenoblade Chronicles.  And Monster Hunter Tri if you, like me, sunk way too many hours into it that should have been spent writing a PhD thesis.

Just looking at the exclusives, I undoubtedly got a good deal.  Sad thing is that that I missed out on the all the multiplatform games.

Ah, Xenoblade Chronicles.  Shame I didn't pick it up before it went to $100.   I'll get it when prices become sane again ($50, which is still a fair bit of coin).

I recommend Mobile Suit, RX-0 and Unicorn from the Unicorn OST.

And then there's the Metroid Prime Trilogy, for which prices will never be sane again. :' (

I could probably find it for $30 simply because there are millions in circulation in the US.  For something like Xenoblade, there's like 900k copies in the entire world.

I recommend Mobile Suit, RX-0 and Unicorn from the Unicorn OST.

Xenoblade's a fantastic game with a fun and absolutely ridiculous Code Geassian plot (complete with batshit plot twists on the level of the Sword of Akasha in the second half), but I doubt that the price is going to drop anytime soon. The game publisher already expressed that there won't be a reprint stateside if I recall correctly, but hopefully there will downloadable port on the Wii U.
