I've just noticed, most of the girls have frickin love hearts in their eyes! And hearts in the lighting of their hair too! How fantastic!
On a more serious note, I can't help but agree with Chieri and be slightly angry at almost every single participant in the audition. "I just wanted to be an idol", seriously? Did none of them see how they went under attack, do they not know that they have to defend themselves? Yes, you may not think about it, but their members die, how do they think that happens? Slots opened up in the idol group? How do you suppose that happened? I can't believe that most of the members trying to join were completely taken by surprise when they found out that they had to protect themselves and be prepared to take people down.
Actually, beside that, considering the amount of competition, even if I did object to the training, I wouldn't even think to complain because if I did they'd just send me home and pick from the ones that didn't. Silly girls.
In fact this whole episode was just do naive. However it is somewhat believable, they are all just girl, though that raises the question why they are asking girls aged 12-15 or whatever to engage in highly dangerous activities.
In fact I was wondering about how it was odd that they threw the girl into combat when they'd only been trained for a week or two, but then a got the answer, the battle didn't really have much tension and it turns out it was because they weren't really deadly. I had to laugh when they made it look like a Madoka, I was highly suspicious, but I still had to think about whether or not she'd really been snuffed.
What an enjoyable experience.
