I didn't intend to watch this, but I got bored, and did.

1:

Much better than I was expecting, the characters are chibi and it seems a simple program. It's not bad, but not very good either. Thought the cat ears were cute though.

No. Just no.

This is yet another slice-of-life series with friends doing the random of things, having no agenda and most importantly, trying to tickle my funny bone but ends up being misses rather than hits. No, I just don't need such shows these days. The characters have no character (lol), the lack of character leads to lack of chemistry, and the lack of chemistry leads to lack of interest. I'm just not feeling this show at all, so without further ado...

...DROPPED.

1: I liked this first episode better than most 4-koma series.  I'll stick around for a few more.

I found this kind of sweet.  Not so much funny, but definitely adorable.  I'll give some more time.

Well, there goes MY last tooth without a cavity.  Not sure I'm going to be able to put up with another one of these types of shows, but I'll try another episode or two before I confirm that feeling.

2: It's no Azumanga Daioh and I assume the jokes will get stale soon, but I'm liking this series.  I don't think it's a "must watch", but it's enjoyable.

3: Yeah, this show is really scratching the "this is insanely cute" itch.  It's a must-watch when I get it downloaded.

There's not been a lot to say on the series because it's been incredibly consistent with it's aim of just being cute. It hasn't got tiring, and the cat costume was so adowable~ I thought the music was quite pleasant this episode as well.

There's not a lot to say because it's just awesome.  I adore this 4-koma conversion.  Though, much like most, there isn't exactly a plot.  But, at least, a lot of hilarious things happen.

I laughed whole-heartedly at that. Usually I just smile and clutch my heart, but that was actually funny, and so cute at the same time.

Maybe I'm just a bad man, but when I saw Mayoi in that costume, I thought 'pedobear?'

The Series

When all is said and done, I want a next series. It was enjoyable, and sweetly funny. The last episode showed a little romance as well which I would have liked more of throughout the series. The series gets a 5 from me, although it's a prime show to be put down to a 4 along with Sankarea if I ever re-evaluate my ratings.

If Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is king of comedic slice of life, Acchi Kocchi is king of :3.  Every episode was so adorable, and I loved every minute.  I do think that Io tended to be a bit too perfect, for the most part he was OK.  This gets a 9 from me.
