Ninja Slayer From Animation
« on: April 16, 2015, 03:27:51 PM »
Seems like the middle ground between Kill la Kill and Inferno Cop in terms of episode length and content. Definitely has some YEEART behind it, but I'm not feeling it. The mediocre action doesn't really do much for me and the only part that I found the least bit funny was seeing the dude's family blow up.

Also "From Animation" really?

The OP/ED are enough to watch it for a while.  We'll see if they get to Inferno Cop humor levels, though.

Still watching this show. Still haven't laughed once. Still don't care about what's going on.
You're an anime. Animate something!

There are some funny moments, but that aside I cant help but smile when this show throws its YEEEEEARTs at me. They sound funny to me for some reason.

If the format of Ninja Slayer From Animation seems familiar, itís because director Akira Amemiya and animation studio Trigger did much the same with Inferno Cop. The only difference here is the episodes are about four times longer

Well, it'd had the best OP/EDs of the season.  And there's a lot of YEARRTTT!! happening.  I'm actually quite pleased.  The series knows what it wants to be and it goes and does it.   It's also, technically, a cheap Webseries.  (ONA)  So it's done what it set out to do and I've enjoyed the ride.  Can't really complain.

Bravo Tigger! You made a future cult classic. Had a god-tier soundtrack, which I will be buying at some point. Hope they get around to another season at some point.
