I don't.  Don't have the time for it.  I've been wanting to set up an #nhrv IRC channel for a long time, but eventually gave up because IRC demands a fair amount of time if you want to actively take part in conversations.  I heard Twitter was a decent less-time consuming alternative to IRC, but now that I've moved on to it, I've found the level of discussion is ridiculously inane (surprise, surprise).  Anyway, here's my Twitter account for anyone who wants to follow.

My Twitter account: http://twitter.com/zzeroparticle

I, like a certain anime blogger I follow, have been treating Twitter as a sort of IRC-lite.  I do think it's a better alternative, especially if you want to peruse links and interesting stuff that people post without having to maintain a constant connection to an IRC server.  And yeah, some of the people I follow post a lot of inane stuff, hell, I'll even do it myself, but I try to keep it to a minimum :P

I don't twitter.

But I AM on IRC 24/7.

Maybe we SHOULD get #nhrv set up. How many of you would be interested?

The main reason to IRC is to fileshare, it's probably the best way to obtain most anime/Japanese music. So a lot of people idle on it and sometimes it can be a decent way to also communicate or discuss.

I don't twitter. I don't chat much on IRC either; MSN is more than enough for what little needs I have. On the other hand, IRC has been my main supply source of anime for the past two years; recall back to the ODEX saga for why that is so.

LOL, Seven.  And I actually have my irc set up to log me in automatically every time I get on irc, too.  In other words, I'm always on there.  More people should show up; it's so quiet in there. :D

There's also a link to a web based client in the menu bar at the top of the forum.

We've pretty much abandoned IRC in an official capacity.  Most of us are contactable on Twitter, and the rest of us are available on Skype.
