Hehe you can do better than me.  While I do like manga, I havn't read enough of it, and only a bit from each one of these, except Naruto.

1. Trigun Maximum
2. Naruto
3. Cowboy Bebop
4. Jing: King of Bandits
5. Full Metal Alchemist

Now if we included some online mangas, I'd have a bit more, because those are free.  Haha.  I do want to pick up some Rurouni Kenshin mangas sometime, and find the most recent Bleach mangas that are past the anime episodes.

That's all I got. If I had read Hajime No Ippo or Beck, they'd probably be on there, but I haven't.

Most of this hasn't changed in quite a while:

1.  Nausicaa: Been here ever since I read the first volume.  Will stay here forever.
2. Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita: Another classic.  Greatest futuristic/alternative world created ever.
3. Angel Sanctuary: I don't find it to be one of the best out there any more, but it stays because it has a special place in my heart.   And Mad Hatter ftw.
4. Furuba: Yeah, I'm a hopeless shoujo fan.  Parakiss will make it here soon once I read more than just a few random chapters.
5. Count Cain: Magnificent manga.  Beats AS in every department, and that's saying A LOT.
6. Death Note:  Some of the best characters I've ever seen in manga history.
7. Boy Next Door: See a trend?
8. Yakitate! Japan: I dare you to not laugh once when reading this.
9. Hikaru no Go: Reignited my interest in go.
10. Rurouni Kenshin: Enishi ftw.  The anime NEVER did him justice.

I have yet to read 20th Century Boys and Homonculus.  Desperately want to, but there's still loads of Furuba to finish.

I know I put numbers for them, but they're not really in order. These manga might not be the best or the most original in everyone's eyes, but they're the manga I've enjoyed the most, and the ones I'm consistently excited about reading more of.

1. Death Note
2. Hot Gimmick
3. Eyeshield 21
4. From Far Away
5. Land of the Blindfolded
6. Petshop of Horrors
7. Blade of the Immortal
8. Azumanga Daioh
9. Fruits Basket
10. Nausicaa

Honorable mentions go to: Boys Next Door, which is the most compelling one-shot I've ever read, and Alichino, which has the most intricate art I've ever seen.

It's only $22 at Right Stuf (http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/xXdBWugn-JsGtHou8B/browse/item/74957/4/0/0) and less than $20 at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/TEKKONKINKREET-Black-White-Taiyo-Matsumoto/dp/1421518678/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1197494936&sr=8-2). Still more than a regular tank, I suppose, but TOTALLY worth it. You can tell that's true because I typed it in caps.

Errr... favourite manga? I'll make a list later, too lazy to at the moment, and favourite lists are always hard for me.

Uuuhhhh... I tend to prefer anime so.

1. Black Jack (aw yeah)
2. Urusei Yatsura (the characters are fun and the jokes are normally great - definitely Rumiko's best)
3. Azumanga Daioh (the anime was awful, the manga was great. Timing really, reaaaallly matters)
4. GeGeGe no Kitarou (I like the anime more, but the manga has such a unique feel, I love it. Would be higher on the list if I found more translations of it.)
5. InuYasha (the first five were fun, the rest sucked)
6. Ranma 1/2 (I grew up with it, it's kind of hard for me not to list it, even though I don't particularly like it)
7. Astro Boy (I've only read the first three but I like them! It would be higher on the list if I had read more)

Eh, I'll waste some time.

1. Nausicaa: Much superior to the movie, and considering how much superior the movie is to most of anime, this makes the manga legendary. World-building at its finest.
2. Phoenix: Another legendary work, the work that Tezuka dedicated a lot of his creative juices to. I'd put this and Nausicaa up there as some of the finest literature created in the past century, not just manga.
3. Pluto: I think this may be Urasawa's best work, since it has all of the terrific elements of his thrillers, but condensed so as not to drag a bit as some of his other works tend to do (20th Century Boy, the currently running Billy Bat, even Monster for a very little bit.)
4. Blade of the Immortal: One of the only currently running manga that I would pre-order every new volume of, no questions asked.
5. Adolf. Another Tezuka masterpiece. Outstanding story and offers a very intriguing point of view into the WWII era that few thought about.
6. Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm: THE classic sci-fi manga, oozes with creativity. Tremendous story and characters that I'm afraid will be seriously flanderized if that James Cameron movie every gets made.
7. Red River: Girl gets warped back in time to the Hittite Empire. The story gets silly and repetitive at times, but it is at its best when dealing with historical issues of the ancient Near East.
8. Vinland Saga: At the opposite spectrum of historical drama to Red River. Very grisly and harsh story, like the Vikings that are the focus of the story. Doesn't pull any punches as to how brutal these people were (and went beyond a bit for artistic license).
9. My Girl (by Sahara Mizu): Similar story to the recently released Usagi Drop, but even better IMO. Soothingly beautiful art coupled with moving story. Doesn't feel as stilted as Usagi Drop sometimes get, and no creepy ending in sight.
10. Fullmetal Alchemist: Great characters, awesome plot, but it's the world-building that elevates it over all other shonen.
