[...] Concurrently, we have a staff blog, Behind The Nihon Review, which is filled with opinions, insight, reviews and rants. Check out the front page for the most recent articles, or dig around the archives and see if you find anything that interests you. Here you can find a list of the articles which I think are among the most intriguing and insightful, so if you want a taste of the types of articles we like to write, it’s a pretty good place to start. All articles are open to discussion and comments, so feel free to add your own thoughts.
[...] Our second round match in the Aniblog Tourney has just started and we’re up against Random Curiosity. We appreciate any support we can get, so please take the time to vote here. If you’re new to the blog, just have a look before you vote. That way, you can be sure your vote is fair and well informed. If you want to dig deeper, I recently posted a “best of” list, featuring our writers’ most significant articles.
That is a good question. You write one of the best anime blogs around, yet it's not in the tournament. That's a bit of a disappointment.

I had no idea that posting comments on the frontpage was such an ordeal, but the frontpage is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. It's old and clumsy, and a lot of the stuff we implemented was from when we didn't really know what we were doing. Ideally, it'd be no more challenging to comment here than it is on the blog.

We had Random Curiosity in the next round? Really? I hadn't even realized. :P In all seriousness, we still haven't won the first round. If/when we win that, then we'll worry about opponents for the next round. If there's one thing I've learned from years of watching AFL football, it's that the only opponent that matters is the one you're up against right now.

This is just my suggestion, but you should really do something about the current comment system for the main blog.

I mean, do you really want a non-registered member to first type in the security number, his email, then be told that you have to 'sign in' (lol), and if he bothered to actually register and make a new account, then be taken to a 'profile setting' screen after signing in, where you have to navigate back to this page, type the security number again...or unless, it is your intention to keep this comment section confined and accessible only to the registered members. Anyway good luck on the tourney, I actually think you have a fair chance against Random Curiosity, since most voters seem to be interested in interesting/regularly updated/accessible/editorial blogs, and don't think the readers of monster sites like Random Curiosity or secluded niche blogs like Anipages Daily concern themselves with this tourny.
