While Ascaloth’s review of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 does cover a disaster scenario, his mention of the plotquake helps calibrate my expectations once I reach that point in the series so that I don’t get too excited once the hammer falls (or the shark jumps).

Fuu’s review of the live-action movie Crows Zero 2 : The Black Bible is also underwhelming, partly by virtue of Miike Takahashi’s awkward attempt to add a dose of drama into a cartoony shounen-esque setting.  Besides, most viewers who’d check this title out are expecting intense fight scenes rather than angst.
