The Nihon Review - Anime Reviews & Editorials

Thank you, Kavik Ryx

On behalf of The Nihon Review, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the contribution made to our site by Kavik Ryx since he joined us three years and twelve days ago, back in 2007.  In that time, Kavik Ryx has become the third most prolific reviewer our site has ever had, writing 64 reviews, many of which concerning his pet passion: mecha.  He’s been a fantastic contributor for us, bringing us a plethora of reviews across all of anime’s time periods.  He leaves us today with two final reviews, firstly of the influential Armored Troopers VOTOMS and secondly his first live action review, Shin: Kamen Rider Prologue, taking an indefinite hiatus, but, when he chooses, he may return to our staff some time in the future.  Until then, thank you again, and we wish you well in whatever you do in the meantime.

We’re also announcing two other changes to our staff list.  Firstly, we’ve welcomed back TypicalIdiotFan to our list, who will be writing more articles on the blog.  Be sure to have a look at his recent article on the controversial Bill 156: I Don’t Know. You Don’t Know. And That Sucks.  Also, we’ve said farewell to Buttercup, and we’d like to thank her for her contribution to The Nihon Review over the course of this year.  These changes mean that there are now two open positions on our staff list, which we intend to fill in an upcoming staff contest, starting in January.  If you’ve ever contemplated joining The Nihon Review staff, be sure to keep your ear to the ground, as the staff contest will be your best opportunity for the foreseeable future. We’ll be announcing more details soon.
