Today Godai gives positive reviews to some interesting offshoots (read: bastardizations) of the Mahou Shoujo genre: Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second.  Though I believe that the franchise is redundant and mediocre overall, I can’t help but admit that I was genuinely shocked when the series first came out.

That’s how AC has seen Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, calling it the best Ghibli film in recent years.  Unfortunately, zzeroparticle wasn’t quite as impressed with Ga-Rei -Zero-.
