In other news, the official Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni website has announced that a special extra DVD will be available to Japanese consumers that purchase the entire series on DVD, featuring a special Nekokoroshi-hen OVA. Most speculation surrounding the release is that it’ll be a light fare focusing on Rika’s neko-cosplay misadventures and Rena’s attempts to “take her home”. On a personal note, I think I’d have preferred if they made a Minagoroshi-hen OVA…
