The Nihon Review - Anime Reviews & Editorials

An abominable summer

There are times when I sit back on my leather armchair and watch the RAGE train with amusement, and there are times when I leap on board with shotgun in hand.  Endless Summer is something that should have pushed me far into the latter, but eight iterations of the same thing has left half my mind comatose and left the other half content on lazing on the comforts of the leather chair.  Sorrow-kun seems to share my agitation as expressed in his review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya S2, but I consider his rating an insult to all “below average” anime that came before it.
