Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s NHRV Staff Contest. We now have the difficult task of picking the winners. We hope to have an announcement in the next few days, but this year’s decision might take a little longer than usual owing to the high quality of applications we’ve received this time, so we ask for patience from everyone.
In the meantime, we have two new reviews. I’ve taken a look at the short but sweet Thermae Romae, which is charming its, er, cheapness. Also, Eternal has reviewed the film adaptation of Murakami‘s Norwegian Wood, which is a deep, if somewhat impenetrable, movie. As it has a soundtrack by the brilliant Johnny Greenwood, I’ve immediately added it to my “to see” list.
